About Perthshire Housing Association
We are an expanding and ambitious housing association committed to achieving the following aims:
- To increase housing choice and opportunity by providing affordable, good quality, energy efficient homes for rent and shared ownership.
- To adopt sustainable building techniques that maximise renewable energy resources and minimise the emissions of greenhouse gases.
- To ensure that access to homes that we build is based on the need of applicants.
- To provide an efficient and responsive service in such a way that those making use of our services are treated with courtesy, civility and respect.
- To maximise housing output by adopting efficient procurement methods and utilising both public and private finance.
- To exercise diligence and prudence in the control of funds.
- To promote equality of opportunity across the entire range of our activities.
We continue to develop a culture of innovation and enterprise in tackling problems associated with meeting housing need and strive to promote an environment where individuals and citizens are able to contribute to the wellbeing of the communities in which they live. In turn, we seek to foster strong self-sustaining communities in which the households can take a sense of pride and ownership.
We are a non-profit making Scottish Charity governed by a voluntary Management Board. The Board members are all local citizens and we believe strongly in local control and management as a means of better understanding the needs of those whom we serve.
The Board in turn employs a professional staff team charged with achieving agreed business objectives and managing all matters relating to the day to day operation of the organisation.
